ASSYST is seeking a Program Manager for our direct client in Florida who will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team and manage one or more highly complex or enterprise‑wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.

• Develop and manage resource‑loaded and leveled projects
• Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise‑wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects
• Serve as a liaison with users
• Ensure project integration and adjust project scope, timing and budgets as needed, based on the Department’s needs
• Provide hands‑on leadership for complex projects
• Provide project progress reports to internal and external stakeholders as well as executive leadership
• Manage project spending plans and resources for associated projects
• Maintain all project artifacts in accordance with Program Management Office (PMO) standards and other documentation as necessary to ensure compliance with Chapter 60GG‑1, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.)
• Work closely with customers, stakeholders and IT software developers to document business requirements
• Manage expectations of diverse stakeholders and provide regular briefings to executives
• Work independently as part of a larger cross‑functional team

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience can substitute for the educational requirement.

• Possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification
• Experience managing successful, large‑scale projects that include multiple diverse teams
• Experience using project software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc. to track and maintain project records
• Experience with PMO methodologies and documentation
• Experience in risk and issue management
• Proven track record of completing project deliverables within the constraints of scope, schedule, cost and quality
• Ability to effectively coordinate multiple project teams and meet overall objectives
• Experience providing excellent leadership and negotiation skills
