working title: criminal justice information analyst i -
under the direct supervision of the cjis manager i, this position is responsible for the accountability of all payments received with seal and expunge applications to include daily reconciliations and reporting of funds processed. In addition, this position is responsible for the processing of applications from the public related to the seal and expunge process. This position requires extensive research using multiple databases to ensure applications are properly processed with accurate information.
This position is also responsible for providing quality service to the public regarding the seal and expunge process as well as state and federal guidelines. This position must meet and maintain national crime information center (ncic)/ florida crime information center (fcic) certification as required and is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data housed within the department databases.
specific duties include:
- reviewing, analyzing, and processing applications from the public related to the seal and expunge process;
- processing incoming correspondence, verifying for completeness and routes to appropriate next level of review as required by operating procedures;
- evaluating fingerprint cards received for legibility and route as required;
- sorting and distributing incoming mail in accordance with defined guidelines;
- utilizing multiple databases to gather documentation needed for processing incoming correspondence in accordance with state statute;
- entering and validating required information in multiple databases for efficient tacking of packages;
- processing, batching, and reconciling payments as required by operating procedures;
- providing service to local, state, and federal agencies and the general public by means of telephone, correspondence, or personal contact; and
- maintaining various logs and records of the applications received and processed.
- knowledge of general office procedures and practices;
- knowledge of the office of financial management payment processing procedures;
- ability to record, collect, evaluates, and analyzes data;
- ability to organize files, records and/or other materials;
- ability to sort data alphabetically, numerically, and categorically;
- ability to operate personal computers and other office equipment;
- ability to read and interpret law enforcement data;
- ability to follow instructions;
- ability to review data for accuracy and completeness; and
- ability to read and interpret state statutes.

base salary:- $ 40,140.10
