• can work 100% on-site from day one and have all the Required skill set and have experience as a "On-Site Senior DBA (DB2 for z/OS/Oracle/SQL SERVER/AZURE). Preference to have PUBLIC SECTOR Experience.

This is a fixed fee/hourly based project which is inclusive of travel, lodging, per diem expenses and all other costs associated with the completion of the associated tasks.

This job is to be performed onsite, at the reporting location below, Monday-Friday, during business hours.

The DBA team is responsible for ensuring the application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schemas meet the department standards for data requirements. The candidate in this position will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, amendments and optimization of the schema to meet system(s) requirements. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop database and warehousing design across multiple platforms and computing environments.

The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to assist in developing an overall data architecture that supports the Department’s needs and meets Department and Agency for State Technology (AST) security standards.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

• DB2 for z/OS (Primary expereince)
• SQL Server 2008R2, 2012
• Oracle 10g and above
• Experience with the CLIENT integrated database infrastructure is a plus.
• Knowledge of the CLIENT Financial Management applications is a plus.
• Knowledge of the CLIENT integrated application environment is a plus

• Daily operational and database administration activities
• Plan, design, implement, support for database structures
• Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning
• Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation
• Perform SQL Code reviews
• Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff This resource may also be required to perform other database or infrastructure activities as requested

• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management and data base administration
• Advanced knowledge of upgrading DB2 for z/OS
• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS catalog maintenance
• Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS sub-system point in time recovery
