Job Title:
Systems Analyst (Lead Developer – .NET & SQL) Position Summary
The Systems Analyst will support the Office of Information Technology as a Lead Developer and Subject Matter Expert for applications supporting complex financial business processes. This role includes systems analysis, process documentation, development oversight, mentoring developers, and ensuring adherence to software development standards. The candidate will assist with business transformation initiatives, process redesign, and delivery of scalable enterprise solutions across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead development efforts for financial systems applications
- Serve as SME on cross-functional enterprise projects
- Analyze and document business processes; identify efficiency improvements
- Support QA through integration, staging, and production environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices
- Mentor and guide development teams
- Collaborate with distributed teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions
- Support continuous improvement and process standardization initiatives
- 7+ years as a Lead Developer or Development Manager
- 5+ years experience with relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle or similar)
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET
- Experience with ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, n-Hibernate)
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining systems supporting complex financial business processes
- Experience developing SQL, Power BI, and SSRS reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
