We are currently seeking a highly experienced Systems Analyst / Lead Developer to support a large-scale enterprise environment with complex financial systems and cross-functional application development. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact government technology initiatives.
Client: Florida Department of Transportation
Duration: Contract through June 30, 2026 (Extension Possible)
The selected candidate will act as a Lead Developer, Systems Analyst, and Subject Matter Expert, supporting software development, system analysis, process improvement, and enterprise application modernization. The role involves working on complex financial systems, guiding development teams, and ensuring scalable and robust solutions.
- Lead development and systems analysis for enterprise applications
- Analyze and improve complex financial business processes
- Support software development lifecycle and enforce coding standards
- Guide QA across development, staging, and production environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams
- Support process standardization and continuous improvement
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership
- 7+ years as Lead Developer / Development Manager / Systems Analyst
- Strong experience with relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET technologies
- Experience with ORMs, Entity Framework, n-Hibernate
- Strong SQL and reporting skills (Power BI, SSRS)
- Experience with complex financial systems and enterprise applications
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
