This position is within FSU’s Department of Florida Virtual Campus (FLVC).

• This team provides support for Desktops and AV support for NWRDC/FLVC/SDC. The position installs, maintains, and troubleshoots desktop operating systems, application software, and hardware on personal computers and core infrastructure at NWRDC/FLVC/SDC.
• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots operating systems and application software on all office computers.
• Installs, maintains and troubleshoots hardware on all office computers and peripheral equipment, including but not limited to network printers, scanners and UPS devices.
• Provides end‑user training and support for application software and hardware. Documents business process for all job tasks. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains inventory of hardware and software, including the hardware components, software product, version, service and license agreements and all network equipment. Performs work in support of any audio/visual and conferencing needs for the organization.
• NWRDC provides support for a wide range of state and local government, as well as K‑20 organizations across the State of Florida. These organizations are dependent on NWRDC in order to accomplish their missions. This requires NWRDC to maintain services 24x7, even during times of crisis or emergency. As such, all NWRDC staff are considered essential staff for operations of the State of Florida.

• Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (

• Microsoft Intune Management, Qualysis, Microsoft Defender for cloud, Anti‑virus and malware tools, PC imaging tools.
• Extron AV equipment.
• Azure, Hardware lifecycle management and inventory and deployment.
• Remote PC management, VPN’s, WIFI, CJIS Certified.
• Hold a valid Florida or Georgia drivers license or the ability to obtain one.

This position is ideal for someone technically oriented and with customer service skills interested in the IT field.

Troubleshooting technical trouble tickets, assisting customers with PC support problems. Running and coordinating conference room meetings. Hardware deployments and patch management. Running security tools to ensure compliance.
