Data Scientist, Mid

As a data scientist, you’ll unlock the secrets held by a data set and help find answers in data‑rich environments. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs, develop algorithms and systems, and turn disparate data points into objective answers to inform decision making. Your work will have real‑world impact across sectors such as fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence.

• 1+ year of experience in statistics, operations research, or advanced mathematics
• Experience with R or Python
• Experience using scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED

• Experience with optimization, modeling and simulation, prediction, estimation, decision analysis, or engineering management
• Experience analyzing large‑scale datasets
• Experience with data gathering, cleansing, and parsing
• Experience developing and applying optimization and simulation models
• Ability to work in Windows and Linux OS environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science

Salary will be based on location, education, knowledge, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
