Location: Wauchula
Syber Stone is seeking an IT Systems Technician I to join our growing team and provide technical support for our clients across a variety of industries. This role is responsible for supporting end-user devices, Microsoft 365 environments, business applications, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions while delivering exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate is a motivated technology professional with strong troubleshooting skills, a desire to learn, and a customer-focused mindset. This position provides hands‑on experience with systems administration, networking, cloud services, and cybersecurity within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
Responsibilities- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Provide technical support for Windows, Microsoft 365, business applications, and client technology environments.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
- Assist with user on‑boarding and off‑boarding, including account setup and access management.
- Support network infrastructure including wireless networks, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and software updates.
- Document support activities, configurations, and resolutions within company systems.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Assist with technology deployments, upgrades, and client projects.
- Deliver professional and exceptional customer service to clients and end users.
- Follow established cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
- Previous experience in technical support, help desk, desktop support, or a related IT role preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and computer hardware.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, and VPN technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment when necessary.
- Familiarity with MSP environments, RMM tools, PSA systems, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Ubiquiti, or Fortinet products is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL service management principles is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and maintain professional conduct when working with clients.
