Job Overview
We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer to help streamline the software development lifecycle, from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open‑source tools, automation, and cloud resources to reduce manual tasks and empower developers to focus on creating value. Your responsibilities will include implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and contributing to mission‑critical solutions across multiple technical stacks.
This role requires collaborative work with application development teams and a focus on delivering efficient, reliable software that drives impact.
- 4+ years of experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or Git Lab
- 4+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform
- 4+ years of experience with configuration management tools
- Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Experience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with containerization tools, including Kubernetes or Docker
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Linux Shell Script
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III certification within 30 days of hire date
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Maven, Gradle, or NPM
- Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open‑source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $ annualized USD, based on location, experience, education, and contract‑specific factors. This is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package.
