MPE Administrators directly support JSF operations by assuring the integrity of data stored within the system by maintaining the internal databases and applications.
The successful candidate will serve as the point of contact in customer discussions during the flight and evaluation activities while maintaining system functionality. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access.
This role is in support of Eglin AFB and will be based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities- Lead the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Mission Planning Environment (MPE).
- Cross‑train across multiple functions (Database, Network, Systems, Security, Mission Planning Administration).
- Manage L‑code personnel for all Mission Planning Administrators, including Life‑Mission Commit, expense report and time card approval, employee retention, and training.
- Oversee day‑to‑day technical issues, operational issues, training, and ensure processes and documentation are followed.
- Interact daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership.
- Maintain system/database/software/firewall/account and monitor for availability and performance.
- Coordinate with peers, Tier2 and engineers for smooth, secure operation of multi‑user computer systems.
- Perform laptop re‑image, troubleshooting, and account maintenance.
- Train Mission Planning Environment Administrators and users on the ALIS system as needed.
- Perform COMSEC CRO duties, adhere to requirements, and train others in COMSEC.

- Secret security clearance or higher with investigation within the last 6 years.
- DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA).
- 5 years’ experience as a Mission Planning Administrator.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven leadership experience.
- Ability to adhere to the REAL .
- Operational support role to an active fighter unit; may require work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, rotating shifts, and over 40 hours per week, potentially including weekends.
- Prior leadership and people management experience including recruitment, retention, performance assessment, work assignment, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, and career development.
- Project Management experience.
- Strong business acumen, influence management, and whole systems thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, including JSF ALIS hardware and software.
- Experience supporting the US Military or Foreign Military.
- US DoD Top Secret Clearance.
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with investigation or CV date within 5 years.
Work ScheduleStandard Monday to Friday 40‑hour work week.
