Our client located in Fort Lauderdale;
Florida is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform & Data Analyst to support the design, development, and optimization of business workflows and reporting solutions. This role will play a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency by leveraging Microsoft technologies to streamline processes, improve data visibility, and enable better decision-making.
This position will initially be a contract engagement (6 12 months), with potential for extension or long-term conversion based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize business process workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, with a focus on financial data and insights
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (including finance leadership) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Support and enhance data layers and integrations across systems
- Utilize tools such as Power Automate, Share Point , and Microsoft Copilot to drive automation and productivity
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains
- Partner with internal IT leadership (Director and Lead Engineer) to execute strategic initiatives
- 5+ years of experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Power BI (dashboarding, reporting, data modeling)
- Power Automate (workflow automation)
- SharePoint (document management and collaboration)
- Experience building process automation and workflow solutions
- Strong understanding of data structures, data layers, and integrations
- Ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with financial data, reporting, and dashboards
- Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or AI-driven productivity tools
- Background in retail, hospitality, or similar fast-paced environments
- Experience in roles blending technical delivery and business analysis responsibilities
