Windows System Administrator - TS​/SCI w​/Poly

Windows Systems Administrator (This newly-initiated prime contract is based in Maryland)

Amentum is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to provide day‑to‑day system administration, maintenance and support for IT infrastructure, including client/server, storage, network and mobile devices within the agency’s systems.

• Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure.
• Provide Tier I and Tier 2 help desk support, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Support escalation and status communication to agency management and internal customers.
• Configure and manage Windows and UNIX operating systems, installing software, troubleshooting, and ensuring system integrity.
• Monitor system operations, optimize resource utilization, and perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Assist users with accessing and using IT systems.

TS/SCI Poly clearance required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, IT Engineering, or related field.
• Ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Substitution options:
  Four (4) additional years of work‑related experience may replace the bachelor’s degree or increase the total required experience to 12 or 14 years.

Compliance with DoD 8570.01‑M, minimum certification IAM Level I.

$145,000 – $185,000 (estimation varies based on responsibilities, education, experience, and market data).
