• Strategic Leadership:
  Define and execute the long-term vision for technical publications, aligning content strategy with product roadmaps and company OKRs.
• Team Management:
  Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of technical writers, information architects, and localization specialists.
• Process Optimization:
  Modernize our content infrastructure. Implement and manage modern CCMS platforms, AI-driven search, and automated publishing pipelines to increase efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, UX, and Customer Success to ensure documentation is integrated seamlessly into the user journey.
• Quality & Metrics:
  Establish industry-standard KPIs (e.g., CSAT scores, time-to-first-value, deflection metrics) to measure content effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

• Experience:
  
  15+ years of experience in technical writing, with at least 6+ years managing global technical writing teams in the unstructured data storage (S3 and NAS/File), SaaS, or hardware industry.
• Technical Acumen:
  Ability to understand complex technical architectures, APIs, and developer tools. Familiarity with modern authoring tools (e.g., SDL Tridion, Git, Markdown-based workflows).
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable, and user-centric content.
• Data-Driven Mindset:
  Experience using analytics and customer feedback to iterate on content and prove ROI.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
