FDLE System Administration

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) team in Tallahassee, FL
. The role involves maintaining Florida’s central repository of criminal justice information, ensuring 24/7 uptime, resolving defects, managing release and OS/software upgrades, monitoring databases, and enhancing system functionality for FBI/III mandated changes.

• Provide technical support for system software, application software, and Linux OS.
• Review application logs, monitor the system daily, and respond immediately to security concerns.
• Upgrade systems and processes (release management) to enhance functionality and resolve security issues.
• Participate in the Change Control process and deploy releases and software patches.

• Good communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of Red Hat products such as EAP and ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of scheduler and batch processes.
• Experience working in the state and/or public sector domain.
• Experience with automation tools and disaster recovery.
