Job Summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician for a 6‑month contract‑to‑hire role located on‑site in Tallahassee, FL. The role provides rotational, hands‑on technical support across clinics and works with the Tier 1 vendor to ensure timely ticket resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Provide rotational, hands‑on technical support and training across clinics.
  • Monitor and analyze tickets by clinic to detect trends and work with corporate teams to implement solutions.
  • Travel to designated regional clinics to resolve daily technical operational issues.
  • Manage customer‑relationship aspects of technology infrastructure, including issue documentation, risk mitigation, communication, and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle escalated tickets from the help desk covering various end‑user IT issues.
  • Assist with new‑hire onboarding, equipment installation, patch management, network coordination, terminations, hardware/software support, and remote support.

  • Imprivata
  • Global Protect VPN
  • Direct Access VPN
  • Fresh service ticketing system
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • Experience:

    2‑5 years of hands‑on IT Desktop support with documented ticket detail for knowledge‑base articles.
  • Certifications:

    ITIL, Microsoft, MAC, Citrix, Uni Print (desired).
  • License:
    Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and off‑site meetings; compliance with company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy required.
  • Key skills:
    Desktop support, Windows 10, troubleshooting, Windows, Active Directory, hardware.
