The Florida Department of Financial Services is seeking a Business Analyst for its Office of Information Technology in Tallahassee. This onsite role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, facilitating stakeholder meetings, and translating business needs into technology solutions. The successful candidate will support enterprise technology initiatives, participate in system testing and implementation, and serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams.
Key qualifications:- Four years of experience in Computer Science or Information Technology-related field (or post-secondary degree as alternative)
- Three or more years of experience in IT Projects as a Business Analyst or related duties
- Knowledge of business analysis principles, methodologies, and SDLC processes
- Skill in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements
- Skill in coordinating technology projects, tracking deliverables, and supporting implementation
- Preference for three or more years of experience with Geographic Information Systems including ArcGIS
