BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Quality Engineering Consultant position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and work is on-site . The staff augmentation consultants are required tobe off the week of Christmas and New Year unless services are required withprior approval from division leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the project requirements and project goals and using that understanding toproduce deliverables.
• Reviewfunctional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of system test requirements.
• Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
• Writingtest cases/scripts and maintain involvement in test case automation and execution.
• Defineand track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, testresults and test status.
• Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements.
• Facilitatetest plan review and use case meetings with development teams and key stakeholders.
• Providedemonstrations on fully tested features for user acceptance testing.
• Integrateevaluation and improvements into business process to address the business needs.
• Document all problems and assist in the resolution.
• Deliverquality process training to technical staff and act as an internal qualityconsultant.
• Perform quality audits across the various IT functions to ensure quality standards,procedures and methodologies are being followed.
• Participate in conference calls with State and federal stakeholders, as necessary.
• Research and maintainknowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the project/team.

• Bachelor’sor Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum7 years of IT and business experience.
• Minimum5 years of relevant Quality Assurance technical experience including systems development, testing and/or business experience can substitute for the required education.
• Minimum2 years of audit or assessment or other relevant experience.
• Experience in database testing in Microsoft SQL Server environments including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers andreplication.
• Ability to translate technical requirements & test plans.
• Experience& knowledge in technical aspects of software solutions being tested.
