**** Overview
* * This position requires an Open App Administrator with expert level proficiency across modern enterprise technologies, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of critical systems that support the organization's mission. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration, Active Directory(on-prem and Entra ), identity services, and current Microsoft Server environments. Mastery in configuration and support of MFA, SSO, and advanced identity integrations is essential.

Candidates should also demonstrate hands-on expertise with HP Proliant server provisioning, VMware, and Hyper-V virtualization, cluster migrations, and performance tuning to optimize complex infrastructure  addition to core system administration, this role requires strong competency in cloud resilience and multi-provider environments. Applicants should have experience implementing Azure disaster recovery solutions-including Zerto replication and failover-along with managing email security technologies such as Cisco Secure Email Gateway, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.

A strong understanding of SMP, DNS, and email flow is required to safeguard organizational communications. Familiarity with enterprise backup platforms including Veeam, Data Domain deduplication appliances, and immutable backup strategies is highly desirable. The administrator will collaborate with multiple cloud vendors, ensure seamless SaaS and application integrations, and maintain robust security and governance practices aligned with enterprise application continuity in a 24/7 environment.

In this role, the candidate will serve as a high-level technical authority, driving efficiency, reliability, and security across an evolving technology landscape.
** Essential Functions
*** Assists in identification of new technologies, selection of systems, and installation activities to best meet organizational needs.
* Oversees standard operating procedures concerning departmental information technology (IT) Enterprise applications.
* Oversees System Administration for the organization including on-premises and Azure Microsoft Active Directory, synchronization to cloud and Office 365 products and Enterprise SaaS applications.
* Assists in restoration services and disaster recovery services, including cloud and disaster recovery.
* Provides technical guidance and timely problem resolution to organizational staff for Enterprise applications and SaaS.
* Plans, designs and manages the maintenance and expansion of the City's Enterprise Applications in order to ensure data integrity and availability along with efficient performance, data retrieval, and security.
* Provides technical application support and guidance to the IT staff.
* Controls and monitors the integrity of data stored in the application, memory usage and access times for database functions, and the storage of data files; initiates data recovery procedures when data integrity is in question due to power failure, Internet availability, and/or program failure, etc.
