Location: Tallahassee
The Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Bureau of Operations seeks a Systems Support Manager to oversee the Help Desk and teams managing the division's websites and virtual agent. This role supports the bureau chief on system-support issues, asset management, and coordination with the department's IT office while assisting with a major system transformation project and mentoring mid-level management. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with executive leadership, implement process improvements, and ensure teams have the knowledge and skills to support high-quality operations.
Keyqualifications:
- Knowledge of computer programming and system analysis and design principles
- Ability to supervise and manage employees and conduct short and long-range project planning
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with stakeholders
- Experience with project management, operational planning and oversight, and technology procurement preferred
- Ability to solve problems, make decisions independently, and understand technology-content intersections
