Description:

An Interface Architect is responsible for the planning and oversight of interface installation at client sites. The Interface Architect coordinates interface design, and implementation activities and provides assistance and guidance in the overall project design and implementation activities. The Interface Architect is responsible for project documentation. The Interface Architect may also supervise a team.

Key Responsibilities

Fully meets the requirements and performance standards of a System Engineer - FSI
, plus the following:

Monitors interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance.

Provides high level solution functionality and troubleshooting support to clients.

Oversees interface projects by assisting and mentoring associates working with interfaces.

Demonstrates continuous professional and technical development.

Maintains integrity of interface architecture.

Develops and delivers presentations in small and large group settings.

Demonstrates task and time management skills.

Communicates, documents, and shares knowledge within and across team(s).

Provides technical mentoring to team members.

Understands dependencies and how individual contributions impact larger vision picture.

Works in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures. Understands personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets. Takes appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of role.

Follows Cerner policies, upholds professional standards, and performs work in a manner respectful of others. Recognizes and implements when possible Best Practices.

Adheres to applicable client access, PECA, CHIA, client notification, and change management policies and procedures.

Takes an active part in driving their career development.

Low number of open interface issues at time of turnover tosupport.

Number of successful Interface solution implementations.

Successful completion of Project Milestones.

Adherence to Consulting Framework or JIRA Processes as defined byproject scope.

Responsible to give back to the community by mentoring, teaching formal classes, creating or updating documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (or the equivalent) in CIS, MIS, IS, Comp Sci,Engineering, Business Administration with emphasis in information systems, orrelated field and 5 years progressively more responsible related experience; or Master’s Degree (or the equivalent) in CIS, MIS, IS, Comp Sci, Engineering,Business Administration with emphasis in IS, or related field and 3 years related experience.

Background in healthcare, sciences, or information systems; with emphasis in information systems, or related field (e.g. statistics,mathematics, physics), and 3 years programming experience.

Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed.

Must have either SQL or CCL experience

HL7 certification preferred however some experience is a must

Must have either clinical or healthcare experience

Travel-25-50%

Hiring Range in USD from $25.48 to $63.65 per hour; from: $53,000 to $132,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
