Brown & Brown is seeking a Personal Lines Marketing Assistant to join our growing team in Tallahassee, FL
.
The Person al Lines Marketing Assistant is responsible for the successful placement of personal client insurance programs, both new and renewal, under the direction of the PL Team Leader. Job duties include evaluation of submissions for the purpose of suggesting appropriate markets to be approached for quotations, analyzing quotes obtained from various insurance companies and reviewing quote options with Marketing Team/Producers.
Creating high quality and accurate proposals for presentations. This individual will help develop and maintain close working relationships with insurance company representatives and brokers as well as agency producers and account managers within the office.
- Send submissions to carriers
- Rate and gather quotes for proposals
- Negotiate renewal quotes with carriers
- Follow Marketing procedures as outlined in PL Procedures Manual
- Input Personal Account detail into AMS
360 as required for renewals - Input bound Premium/Commission for renewals
- Request binding for renewals in marketing
- Gather information for renewals from Account Managers
- Review Dec pages in AMS/review renewal applications in submissions for marketing
- Input data into carrier online rating system
- Attend carrier meetings/Marketing Team meetings
- Activities/Follow Ups for marketing
Certifications:
- 2-20 License – Willing to Obtain
- High school diploma
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
