Personal Injury Claims Examiner

GEICO is seeking a Personal Injury Claims Examiner to fairly and efficiently resolve auto-related injury claims. In this role, you'll investigate coverage, analyze liability, review medical documentation, and negotiate equitable settlements while delivering excellent customer service. You'll manage a caseload, document all decisions, and work within state regulations and GEICO policies. Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate personal injury auto claims from initial report through resolution
• Verify coverage, review medical records, police reports, and documentation to determine liability
• Analyze damages, calculate appropriate settlements, and negotiate with claimants and attorneys
• Communicate clearly with policyholders, claimants, medical providers, and internal teams
• Document all claim activity accurately in GEICO systems and maintain detailed case files
• Apply company policies, state regulations, and industry best practices to all claim decisions
• Collaborate with supervisors and specialists on complex or litigated claims
• Meet performance, quality, and customer service standards in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate suspicious claims as needed
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on laws, procedures, and products
