We are seeking an experienced insurance claims professional to join our practice. You will work alongside forensic accountants, valuation professionals, attorneys, risk managers, brokers, and insurers to quantify complex insurance claims and support policyholders throughout the claims process. This position offers exposure to some of the largest and most complex claims arising from hurricanes, wildfires, cyber incidents, operational disruptions, construction losses, and other catastrophic events.
YourKey Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the analysis, preparation, and management of complex commercial insurance claims arising from property damage, business interruption, cyber incidents, construction losses, and other operational disruptions. You will work closely with clients, brokers, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and evaluate claim‑related information, assess financial impacts, and develop well‑supported claim submissions. This role will allow you to leverage your technical skills to creatively assess and resolve our clients’ needs from the front lines.
Travel and presence at client sites, along with in‑office presence, will be required.

- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- 2+ years working for an accounting or consulting firm in forensic accounting or dispute & damages
- Achieved, or be working toward a professional designation, such as CPA, CFE or CFF
- Effective organization and time management skills and the ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
- Ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites; a driver’s license is strongly recommended
- 2+ years in calculating business interruption losses for policy holders
- Experience in manufacturing, real estate, healthcare, hospitality, energy, infrastructure, or transportation industries
- Experience with large commercial property losses
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies
