• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities from spoken English to American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa
• Assist in both academic and extracurricular settings, ensuring students have equal access to all learning opportunities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and other educational professionals to support student learning plans
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
• Adapt interpretation techniques for various age groups and learning environments
• Provide feedback and insights to the educational team on student progress and communication needs
• Stay current with educational terminology and best practices in sign language interpretation

• Credentialed in Sign Language Interpretation, with demonstrated fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience interpreting in a school or educational setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students of different ages and backgrounds
