About Us:

A well-established Sarasota law firm is seeking a motivated Plaintiff Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its insurance litigation team. This role focuses on first-party and third-party insurance matters, advocating for policyholders in disputes involving coverage, bad faith, and related claims. Former defense and plaintiff-side attorneys are both encouraged to apply.

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side insurance matters from intake through resolution
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Depose parties and experts; attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Evaluate case value, liability, and strategy throughout the litigation process
• Communicate consistently with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
• Contribute to a positive, accountable in-office culture

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• 2–5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or plaintiff experience strongly preferred)
• Strong writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative in-office setting
• Client-centered mindset with a commitment to high-quality representation
