Job Description & How to Apply Below
Hill Tannenbaum, a Southwest Florida–based construction litigation and community association law firm established in 1995, is seeking a junior to mid-level litigation associate (1–2+ years) to join our Sarasota/Osprey office.
This is a great opportunity for an associate who wants real litigation experience, meaningful mentorship, and a firm that respects work/life balance—not just in theory, but in practice.
What you’ll work on:
- Complex commercial litigation matters
- Discovery, brief writing, and pretrial preparation
- Direct collaboration with two experienced, ethical, and highly regarded trial lawyers
What we’re looking for:
- 1–2+ years of complex commercial litigation experience
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
- Construction litigation experience preferred, but not required
- Judicial clerkship and/or public legal service a plus
- Law review, journal and/or moot court a plus
- No excessive production expectations (work/life balance honored)
- Excellent Healthcare benefits
- A collegial, professional environment with hands-on mentoring
- Competitive compensation with a negotiable base salary starting at $110,000, plus eligibility for formula-based and discretionary bonuses
If you’re looking to grow as a litigator while maintaining balance and working with people who genuinely enjoy practicing law, we’d love to connect.
