Real Estate Legal Assistant​/Paralegal

Full-time In Office;
Tallahassee and Crawfordville Florida

Ausley McMullen is seeking an experienced real estate paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience closing real estate transactions and is comfortable coordinating with internal accounting staff, lenders, realtors, and other parties to keep closings moving smoothly and on schedule.

This role will support both residential and commercial transactions across Florida and Georgia, working closely with attorneys in both our Tallahassee and Crawfordville offices. The candidate who is hired must be willing to work out of both locations.

• Prior experience in real estate and a strong understanding of the closing process
• Experience preparing closing documents, settlement statements, and title commitments
• Familiarity with title searches, title insurance, and resolving title issues
• Comfort with e-recordings and coordinating document filing with county offices
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple transactions at once
• A natural problem-solver who takes ownership of getting things done
• A collaborative team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Candidate with strong time management and organizational skills

Experience with Closers Choice is a plus but is not required.

Starting salary $57,000 - $65,000 (depending on position hired for).
