Legal Secretary

Our client, is seeking a Legal Secretary to join their team.

Legal Secretary

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00

The legal executive assistant acts as the legal secretary for assigned attorneys, formatting, finalizing, typing, and filing documents. Duties include preparing letters and legal documents from drafts, filing pleadings and motions with appropriate tribunals, serving or arranging service of legal documents, and maintaining attorney case files. The legal assistant prepares subpoenas, discovery requests, schedules hearings, trials, depositions, and arranges facilities as directed.

Responsibilities also include retaining and scheduling court reporters, obtaining transcripts, performing general secretarial duties such as phone calls and travel arrangements, entering information in legal tracking systems, Oculus, closing case files, and supporting office management as needed.

• HS Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• MS Office 365
• 3 - 5 years of experience in the legal field
• Legal Track system (LCT/Oculus) - will train if needed
