Paralegal - Legal Assistant

Manage new client intake, engagement letters, conflict checks, and matter setup

Prepare and draft legal correspondence, notices, proposed orders, and routine pleadings

Handle electronic filings through Florida E-Portal, CM/ECF, and Court Map

Track court deadlines, monitor docket activity, and maintain litigation calendars

Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related logistics

Organize and maintain electronic case files and legal records

Assist with discovery, subpoenas, records requests, and service of process

Prepare trial binders, exhibits, hearing notebooks, and witness materials

Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors

Support attorneys with calendar management, time entry, and billing activities

3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Paralegal

Strong knowledge of Florida state court and/or federal court filing procedures

Proven experience managing litigation deadlines and court calendars

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

Experience supporting Intellectual Property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents

Familiarity with Clio, Court Map, PACER, Net Documents, and Florida E-Portal

Paralegal Certificate or equivalent legal experience
