A well-established legal services team in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced paralegal who enjoys hands‑on litigation support, detailed case organization, document management, and trial preparation.
The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with supervising attorneys and firm leadership in a collaborative legal environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and teamwork are valued. This is a strong opportunity for a legal professional who wants stability, meaningful case involvement, and the ability to contribute directly to successful litigation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with case management, file organization, document preparation, and litigation support.
- Obtain, organize, review, and summarize case records, correspondence, and legal documents.
- Draft subpoenas, requests for records, and other case‑related legal documents.
- Coordinate materials for experts, IMEs, witnesses, and other parties as needed.
- Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, reviewing opposing party exhibits, and coordinating trial logistics.
- Communicate with attorneys, experts, and internal team members to ensure case materials are complete and deadlines are met.

- Salary range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year.

- Manage litigation case files, records, correspondence, and case materials from intake through trial preparation.
- Prepare and organize subpoenas, records requests, exhibits, expert materials, and other legal documents.
- Support attorneys with IME coordination, expert document production, witness coordination, and trial preparation.
- Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience required.
- Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, litigation processes, and document production.
- A.S. or B.A. in paralegal studies or a related field preferred.
- Strong typing skills with the ability to produce accurate work product in a timely manner.
- Proficiency using standard office equipment, including computer, copier, scanner, fax machine, and telephone.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented legal environment.
- Ability to travel when necessary.
- Paralegal studies degree or related academic background.
- Prior litigation support experience, including trial preparation, exhibit organization, and expert coordination.
- Experience drafting subpoenas, records requests, summaries, and case management documents.
