As a Purchasing Agent, you’ll be a key part of keeping our projects running smoothly by managing purchasing, coordinating with vendors, and tracking materials from order to delivery. • Issue purchase orders for materials, equipment, tools, and supplies in accordance with approved quotes, budgets, and authorization requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate competitive quotes for non‑standard materials and equipment.
• Support cost control initiatives while maintaining quality, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
• Maintain productive relationships with approved vendors and identify opportunities to source new vendors when beneficial.
• Track open purchase orders, monitor lead times, and follow up on delayed or back‑ordered items.
• Coordinate technical submittals and ensure purchasing aligns with approved specifications.
• Ensure all purchasing documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant (POs, quotes, packing slips, invoices, warranties, manuals, submittals).
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to support receiving, inventory accuracy, and stocking of commonly used materials.
• Issue and process field purchase orders in accordance with SOPs.
• Communicate clearly with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding order status, pricing, and availability.
• Adhere to purchasing procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred

• 2 or more years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in construction, roofing, or a related environment
• Experience working with ERP (Sage Intacct) or purchasing systems preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Understanding of purchasing processes, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
• Ability to read and interpret quotes, specifications, and submittals
• Strong organizational and follow‑up skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and purchasing or accounting software
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong internal collaboration skills
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Successful Pre‑Employment Drug
