Position: 801 Red Horse - EOD Logisitics Support Technician
Location: Tyndall Air Force Base

Rigid Tactical is seeking an experienced EOD Logistics Support Technician to support the 801 RED HORSE Training Squadron at Tyndall AFB. This critical role ensures that all EOD tactical equipment, specialized vehicles, Unit Type Code (UTC) mobility assets, and student training gear remain mission-ready, compliant, and prepared for high‑tempo training operations.

To source the highest tier of talent, this position offers two distinct qualification pathways: welcoming either seasoned EOD operators with a background in supply chain workflows or dedicated Air Force Logistics Readiness veterans with comprehensive asset management experience.

Employment is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD).
  • Minimum of a prior EOD Senior Badge.
  • 8 years of dedicated EOD Active‑Duty Air Force Logistics management experience.
  • Direct familiarity and operational knowledge of Air Force logistics and supply chain systems.
  • Direct familiarity with the EOD Information Management System (EODIMS).
  • Valid Drivers License.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Prepare, validate, and document a rigorous, recurring equipment maintenance program to prevent readiness gaps.
  • Conduct strict, recurring inventories of EOD Unit Type Code (UTC) mobility packages and specialized base support equipment.
  • Partner with the Squadron Vehicle NCO to manage and oversee the EOD vehicle fleet's daily maintenance schedule and operational tracking in strict accordance with AFI 24‑302.
  • Maintain student equipment storage cages, ensuring all issued training gear remains organized, safe, fully compliant, and mission‑ready.
  • Direct the formal issue and receipt tracking of EOD tactical equipment and specialized vehicles during active Conventional Survivability Training Readiness (CSTR) events, ensuring all gear damage or loss is meticulously documented and reported.
