Job SummaryAre you the type of person who can lead people of all backgrounds and prioritize work to meet customer needs? In this role you will support the day-to-day work of our production team members and collaborate with other areas to continually improve processes and meet customer demand. You will facilitate communication, ensure proper training is in place, and plan and direct the work of team members.
We’re looking for individuals who communicate well and lead others with technical expertise.
- High School Diploma or HiSET.
- One-year manufacturing related experience.
- Ability to lead others in alignment with the Vermeer characteristics and behaviors.
- Ability to perform problem solving techniques and implement counter measures.
- Demonstrated understanding of performance measurements including, but not limited to, safety, quality, delivery, cost and inventory.
- Understanding of lean principles.
- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to assess, evaluate, and carry out appropriate action in multiple situations.
- Understanding of equipment and machinery operation.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish, preferred.
No travel is expected of this position.
