A leading HVAC distribution company is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing and inventory replenishment while ensuring product availability across warehouse operations.

Salary

$50,000–$60,000 annually
, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and replenishment for assigned products and locations.
• Monitor Min/Max levels, reorder points, safety stock, and inventory usage
  .
• Review ERP recommendations and determine appropriate purchasing quantities and timing.
• Create and manage purchase orders and follow up with vendors on availability and deliveries.
• Monitor stock-outs, excess inventory, and slow-moving products.
• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to support planning and cost-effective decisions.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory data within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Operations, and Purchasing teams to ensure product availability.
• Prepare purchasing and inventory reports as needed.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of Buyer/Purchasing experience in a distribution environment – required.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, industrial, or construction distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory replenishment and vendor management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Business One, Macola, Sage, or similar
  .
• Strong Excel skills;
  Power BI/data analysis experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
