- Operate floor‑care equipment such as scrubbers, burnishing machines, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners.
- Perform floor care, including stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning and shampooing, marble cleaning and polishing, upholstery cleaning, and moving tables and chairs as required.
- Prioritize and coordinate with other workers to complete floor‑care work within the scope of multi‑trade projects.
- Assist in training new employees on proper floor‑care techniques and procedures.
- Tag equipment for repairs and advise supervisor.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Perform Floor Attendant duties as needed.
- Follow all safety requirements and procedures.
- High school diploma or GED (equivalent preferred).
- Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals preferred.
- Experience in deep cleaning upholstery, carpet care, and waxing floors preferred.
- Experience using professional commercial pressure‑washing equipment.
- Outstanding guest‑service skills.
- Detail‑oriented with high cleanliness standards.
- Conduct yourself in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Seminole Tribe of Florida, and departmental policies.
- Requires standing, walking, and high mobility for the majority of the shift.
- Regular communication with internal and external customers in a noisy environment.
- Movement across various surfaces, including carpeted, hard, slippery, and sloping areas.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception; exposure to bright and dim lighting, flashing lights, and screens.
- Bending, lifting, and carrying supplies up to 20 lbs; use of wheeled hand‑carts or other equipment weighing over 100 lbs.
- Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting at waist; potential exposure to bodily fluids, animals, and strong odors.
- Exposure to tobacco and second‑hand smoke.
- Use of de‑escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict.
- Assistance in customer evacuation during emergencies.
The Tribal Council gives preference in all employment practices to Native Americans. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American tribes who meet the job requirements.
