Program Management - Sub Stf

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 5+ professional years in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management (e.g., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, or Category Management)
• Ability to travel approximately 25%
• US Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a US SECRET clearance; must successfully pass a drug test and background check to access classified information

• Master's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
• 10+ years in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management (e.g., Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, or Category Management)
• Experience managing performance, design, or procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment in the defense industry
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Detail‑oriented, teamwork‑oriented with organizational skills
• Effective relationship‑building skills with peers, leadership, and suppliers
• Exceptional strategic communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for teamwork
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving in fast‑paced environments
• Data‑driven decision making with a record of successful performance
• Experience leading cross‑functional Supplier Management Teams
• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR and contract types
• Experience with long‑form subcontracts and DoD programs
• Professional negotiation experience and ability to resolve contractual and technical issues to closure
• Experience improving team and supplier performance

• Hold procurement management and delegation responsibility for all applicable supplier agreements and contracts within the established authority
• Perform subcontract administrator duties, including:
  • Ensuring all artifacts necessary for a compliant procurement document are present and adequate
  • Engaging with the Subcontracts Manager Peer Reviewer to ensure compliant packages are presented
  • Engaging with Subcontracts Manage Compliance for process compliance
  • Helping to develop subcontract specifications, statements of work, and scope
  • Researching and evaluating procurement sources and qualifications
  • Managing compliant placement of purchase orders

The position requires onsite work at a Lockheed Martin Space facility in either Denver, CO or Titusville, FL. Teleworking is not supported.
