Responsibilities- Responsible for executing and coordinating all branded consumer event activities in market
- Recruit, manage and evaluate brand advocates and logistical staff
- Arrange full staff training sessions including training materials as needed for each program
- Recruit temporary program employees and contractors in coordination with Director of Operations
- Manage compensation of direct reports
- Manage coordination of the client partner and working groups engaged in program work
- Maintain a detailed program plan for your market
- Provide status reports to the designated Director of Operations
- Manage Program deliverables in line with the event program plan
- Record and manage program issues
- Resolve cross-functional issues at program level
- Manage Program training within the defined budget
- Delegate and plan for all on-site, program activities
- Liaise and update progress on the Program with SG Management
- Work closely with SG team members to ensure the Program meets business needs
- Manage and operate POS warehousing, inventory and transport
- Disseminate and manage allotted POS/merchandise including monthly inventory tracking
- Management of all data captured on Piñata
- Oversee the event process in the market and make sure there is daily contact with SG Director and client’s local sales force
- Responsible for facilitation of payment of all approved program expenses (bar spends, event expenses, etc.)
- Complete all event recaps
- Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, communicate challenges in a timely manner
- 3+ years of promotion sampling in the wine and spirits industry
- 1-2 years’ experience managing sampling programs within the designated market
- Strong time management and organizational skills to ensure that the Program is properly staffed, delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications) for their market
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including all program contributors) and to effectively communicate in a professional manner
- Ability to manage the work of sampling agent consultants, allocate and utilize resources in an efficient manner and maintain a co-operative, motivated and successful team
- Ability to work independently and to be responsible, enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated
- Managed multiple teams across multiple projects
- Has existing relationships and contacts in the market
- Proficient in managing budgets
- Must possess strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point
- Requires irregular hours, including nights and weekends
- Must have own car
Reports directly to and is evaluated by the Director of Operations.
