Area Manager, Management Operations Manager

Area Manager – responsible for leading an hourly workforce in a fulfillment network, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. The role involves engaging staff during shifts and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet business objectives. Physical requirements include lifting up to 49 lb, standing/walking for up to 12 hr, and working in variable temperature and noise conditions.

• Support, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 lb and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hr during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable noise and temperature, including outside loading areas.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Valid and active USA state driver’s license.

• 1+ year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 – $90,900.00 USD annually. Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) and is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
