Location: Tallahassee
This Contract and Project Manager Supervisor position with the Florida Department of Management Services Division of Telecommunications oversees the Contract Project Management section in Tallahassee, FL. The role involves supervising staff, establishing contract management policies, monitoring contract performance, and serving as liaison between Div Tel and contractors to ensure compliance and best value. Responsibilities include identifying service deficiencies, managing procurement of communications and IT services, and providing strategic guidance on contractual matters to leadership.
KeyQualifications
- Four-year accredited degree (or equivalent professional experience)
- Current FCCM certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Five years managing contracts/grants/projects over $5 million
- Three years of government procurement experience in Florida
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, procurement statutes, contract negotiation, and telecommunications technologies
