Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree and five years of management in financial services are required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing and coaching branch managers, implementing effective training programs for member-facing staff, and leading initiatives to enhance the institution’s presence within the community. This role is best suited for an innovative, highly organized individual with a strong work ethic who is willing to work with their team in a hands-on capacity, while developing strategies that support the organization's growth goals and long-term branching strategy.
The successful candidate will serve as a resource and leader to teams across all branches, ensuring operational efficiency, member satisfaction, and alignment with the credit union’s mission.
Champions First Credit Union is hiring an energetic individual to join their team as the Vice President of Retail Operations. This position is the head of all operational functions for the credit union and is responsible for overseeing all the retail functions of the organization, including oversight of all branches. Working closely with the EVP/CFO, the VP of Retail Operations will oversee the retail member experience and the credit union’s branch network, including optimizing the functions of branch staff as the membership increasingly uses digital banking options.
