As our Quality Technician
, you’ll play a key role in protecting product quality and helping our manufacturing teams deliver to customer and company specifications.
Your impact? You’ll help prevent quality escapes by performing consistent inspections, supporting containment activities, and contributing to shop-floor audits—so issues are found earlier, addressed faster, and our customers receive the right product every time.
You’ll collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality/Process Engineers, supporting investigations and day-to-day quality execution to strengthen our focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
What You’ll Be Doing- Perform incoming and in-process inspections, and maintain accurate inspection records in the Quality Inspection System
- Use handheld inspection tools and precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gages) to measure components and support print-to-part verification
- Evaluate nonconforming material, help coordinate segregation/hold, and support movement to the correct area for disposition
- Protect customers from escapes by supporting containment, sorting, and blocking/holding suspected parts as needed
- Facilitate and participate in process and shop-floor audits while following safety rules and maintaining 5S housekeeping standards
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing, inspection, or quality environment
- Hands-on knowledge of handheld inspection tools and measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers, height gages)
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, including basic GD&T
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with operations and quality teams
