Production Technician

Role Summary

The Production Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site. This is a full-time, entry-level position on 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with some mandatory overtime.

• Operation, care and routine maintenance of production fermentation processing equipment
• Assembly and disassembly of valves and manufacturing equipment
• Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each production run
• Accurately weigh raw material for production
• Participate in inventory counts
• Must be able to perform daily duties safely in a fast-paced, team environment
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices
• All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

• Preferred:
  High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience
• We will train the right candidate

• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

• High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required

• Required to bend frequently
• Required to use hands constantly
• This position is designated as a "Safety-Sensitive Position"
• Perform repetitive motions during shift
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including hair net, beard net, face mask, foot covers, lab coat, and protective footwear
• Required to push or pull 21 to 50 lbs
• Required to lift or carry 21 to 50 lbs
• Required to squat or kneel constantly
• Able to stand for more than three hours at a time without a break
