The Cultivation Assistant operates under the direction of the Cultivation Supervisor and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the company’s cultivation operation including general labor, vegetative and flowering stages, and may assist in monitoring and documenting plant growth.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING- Monitor and maintain the optimal climate, fertility, and IPM program, and supervise the labor and materials needed for production.
- Manage seed inventory, propagate seedlings into mothers, and maintain Mothering Plants through watering, fertilizing, leaf pruning, and IPM.
- Oversee turnover of mother plants including seeding, propagation, plant destruction, and preparation for the vegetative compartment.
- Participate in inventory activities.
- Coordinate cuttings from Mothering Plants and pot clones in the Mothering Room.
- Manage crop work: watering, fertilizing, pruning and IPM programs.
- Responsible for production and delivery of vegetative cuttings.
- Maintain sanitation, trimming, pruning, harvesting, receiving, shipping, warehouse, and extraction kitchen support as needed.
- Perform routine daily tasks to ensure production, sanitation, inventory control and general labor support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required
- Age 21 or over
- Valid Government-Issued Photo
Preferred
- Experience in the Cannabis Industry
- Willing to work additional hours, including holidays
- Ability to follow instructions unsupervised
- Ability to concentrate on tasks
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods (e.g., trimming, potting, inventory)
- Plant knowledge helpful but not required
- Ability to work in hot, humid greenhouse environments
- Regularly required to reach, grasp, bend, stoop, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods
- Must be able to use a ladder up to 4 feet
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds with care around product
- Ability to work quickly and flexibly in a changing environment
