Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly
Position Summary:
The Infusion (Closed Mold) Laminator will be responsible for building all closed molded parts used on our boats, including hulls, hardtops, hatches, and swim platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Able to follow work instructions/drawings and stay on task to complete a job
- Takes direction from others
- Adaptable and flexible to changing work requirements
- Learn to use required tools properly
- Learn to roll glass with FRP rollers
- Learn to measure glass properly
- Learn to put in fiberglass material
- Inspect, clean and assemble molds before beginning work
- Learn to correctly load glass into mold ensuring glass is adhered to mold surface
- Learn to utilize the proper catalyst to resin rations to ensure correct curing processes
- Ensure there are no leaks within the part before resin injection begins
- Perform intricate part lay ups consistently
- Able to cross-train and learn new areas of lamination
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with closed mold lamination (infusion)
- Knowledge/experience of hull and/or deck infusion preferred
- Able to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to adapt to changes in work processes.
- Deadline and detail-oriented, ability to stay on task
- Able to work with a team and independently
- Able to work in an environment with hearing protection, respirators and other required PPE
