Job Description
Leads, trains, receives, stores, puts away, and issues equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, tools, and compiles stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage areas by performing the following duties.
Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri
Responsibilities:
Ability to train all new hires for all stockroom procedures.
Run daily audits and review handoff to make sure all processes are being done correctly.
Continuous improvement by identifying challenges and working with supervisor on key issues that they are seeing to try and fix before it becomes an issue.
Run work order kitting report and maintenance connection report daily.
Order all PO’s that are less than $500 daily through Maintenance Connection.
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock and stock reports
Check the transfer log multiple times a day and make sure items made it to designated locations
Research inventory discrepancies.
Deliver finish goods cart to the correct production/warehouse locations.
Safety walk done once a week to ensure department is taking all precautions to stay safe.
Inspect product for quality, recognize non-conforming materials, and notify/escalate to the appropriate leader as necessary
Participate in team development and problem solving
Read and interprets labels and documentation ( understands material numbers, quantities, UOM, delivery points, build dates, ship dates, etc.)
Release and process orders, perform inventory transactions, and complete orders for daily batches the line is working related to the stockroom and kit room
Ensure that inventory accuracy is maintained to meet defined standard metric above a 95% accuracy rate
Act as second line of defense for all material received to ensure product is correct and/or right quantity is received
Run work order kitting report and maintenance connection report daily.
Act as a role model for safety including compliance with all related safety guidelines and regulations
Be proficient with stocking of boxes and other items on shelving, floor, or bins as well as making appropriate system transactions.
Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom.
Operate a forklift, powered pallet jack, or other equipment to fulfill stock movements
Effectively communicate with various departments, leadership, customer care and buyers about inventories
Must have extensive knowledge of all parts and products across production lines
Must work independently and have critical thinking skills to assess situations and solve problems and or concerns in a timely manner
Be familiar with all the plant layout, production lines, and all related stock locations

Qualifications:

2 years’ experience in Stockroom
2 years’ experience in Leadership
Forklift experience helpful.
Advanced computer skills required including Microsoft Office and MRP systems
Solid work history and attendance required.
Able to accept responsibility and follow through.
On-the-job training provided
Must be able to determine optimal storage of materials
