Terminal Operator
Primary responsibilities are to unload sulfur barges and load trucks at Mosaic’s Non-Union Distribution Facilities. The primary site is Mosaic Gulf Services (1015 McClosky Blvd., Tampa, FL 33605). Shift schedule:

4 days on, 7 off, 4 nights on, 3 off, 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 nights on, 3 off. 12-hour shifts (6 am/pm to 6 am/pm).
- Load and unload operations following EHS policies and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate environmental, health, and safety compliance, wearing PPE, reporting unsafe conditions, attending safety trainings.
- Actively engage as a team, dependable, approachable, and continuous learner.
- Complete progression program training to demonstrate competency in standard operating procedures.
- Achieve competency in operation positions: loading operator, vessel person-in-charge, heavy equipment operator (skid-steer, high reach).
- Complete maintenance procedures competency: preventive maintenance of trucks and loading stations, mobile equipment repair, boiler, and tank vessel maintenance.
- High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred). Associate degree in process technology discipline (preferred).
- 1-2 years experience in an industrial setting operating mobile equipment.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) – required once in role.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read/written English.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical ability to work outdoors with temperature variations and lift 0-25 lbs. occasionally, climb stairs, work at heights, read colors and materials, hear, see, write, and use fine motor skills, wear a respirator.
- Work rotating shifts, 12-hour shift, and overtime as required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Work occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Climbing stairs and working at various heights.
- Distinguishing colors, patterns, or materials.
- Hearing, reading, writing & understanding basic English.
- Seeing, using fine hand motor skills, wearing a respirator, and working rotating shifts.
