Responsibilities
- Perform precise hand soldering to assemble and repair electronic components
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Work with surface mount technology (SMT) components
- Use calipers, power tools, and other equipment for accurate measurements and cutting
- Apply mechanical skills to fabricate parts as needed
- Operate machinery for machining tasks as required
- Work with electrical systems, including logic controllers
- Ensure quality control standards are consistently met throughout the soldering process
- Minimum of one year of professional hand soldering experience (There' s a in-person Hand Soldering Skills test you must pass)
- Proven experience in electronics assembly and component soldering
- Familiarity with calipers, power tools, and basic machining equipment
- Knowledge of surface mount technology (SMT) components
- Ability to accurately read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Mechanical aptitude for fabricating parts when necessary
- Understanding of electrical systems, including logic controllers
