The Assembler is responsible for performing repetitive assembly tasks on a paced production line to build automatic transmission components. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow established processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:Count and place small parts onto a moving conveyor line at a consistent pace.
Arrange components in the correct order or pattern according to production specifications.
Operate light industrial equipment when needed (training provided).
Follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with additional production or assembly tasks as assigned.
Basic math skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
1–2 years of experience in hand assembly or working on a paced assembly line (preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain consistent productivity.
Ability to stand or sit at a workstation for up to 3 hours at a time.
Regular use of hands and arms to handle, position, and assemble small components.
Ability to perform physical activities including lifting, walking, balancing, stooping, and handling materials.
Fine motor skills and precise finger movements to manipulate very small parts.
Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs without assistance on a regular basis.
