JOB DESCRIPTION
- Strip coatings from surfaces, prepare surfaces, and paint surfaces of parts and sub-assemblies with primer, finish, and protective coatings in accordance with technical manuals, specifications or engineering drawings using multiple application methods
- Set up various types of spray-painting equipment and work stands and apply primer, finish, protective paint and paint-like coatings to parts and assemblies
- Obtain paint types, colors, number of coats and areas to be painted from provided documentation, engineering drawings and process specifications
- Mix paint to specified proportions and to obtain proper consistency for application
- Perform incidental preparatory duties such as cleaning and preparing surfaces for coatings and masking as directed
- Prepare, masks and sprays types of primer, finish and protective coatings on aircraft components
- Make operating adjustments to painting equipment
- Spray-paints with various coatings, as specified
- In preparation for paint application, will prepare surface by sanding/masking
- 3-5 years of Industrial Painting experience
- Willing to work overtime/weekends when necessary
- Able to pass frequent drug test
- $18 hr DOE
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
