Position Summary:We are looking for a dependable, hands‑on team member who takes pride in producing high‑quality work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is safety‑minded, detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, and motivated to learn and grow within the plastics manufacturing industry. This individual thrives in a production setting, works well with others, and demonstrates a strong work ethic, adaptability, and accountability in meeting production and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate injection molding and secondary operation equipment in accordance with production schedules and quality requirements.
- Perform hand cleaning of parts using blades, deburring tools, and abrasives.
- Complete and document quality inspections at required AQL intervals.
- Support daily and weekly production targets while minimizing material loss and downtime.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after each shift.
- Collaborate with Lead Technicians during machine setup, maintenance, and teardown activities.
- Work day or night shifts as required by production demands.
- Participate in cross‑training and development opportunities to build technical and manufacturing skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Manufacturing or injection molding experience is preferred but not required for motivated candidates willing to learn.
- Comfortable working around machinery with strong safety awareness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and eager to develop new skills.
- Career‑minded individual seeking long‑term growth in a stable manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
This position works primarily within climate‑controlled industrial manufacturing facilities and requires standing for extended periods while performing hands‑on production work. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Standard schedules may include 8–12‑hour shifts, with flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on production needs.
